I was really excited for this book. Unfortunately, they cheaped out on the paper. The pictures are low in clarity and the seam of the book disturbs the photo, sometimes it's in the middle of the focal point of whats in the pic. Sucks. I had high hopes for this

Liked the pictures but the quality of the product and book are fair

Santiago I am so sorry to give your effort a 1 star. But the choice of paper is simply incompatible to show your photos. The matte print is barely better that newspaper quality and lesser than many magazines. I don’t want to ask for a refund but I suggest sharing high resolution photos with those of us that contributed to you by buying a hardcover book.

I was very excited to add this book to my collection of photojournel books, because I've seen Santiago Borja's cloud-lightning photos at museums and other sources. BUT the actual book is very disappointing because the quality of paper upon which the photos were reproduced. A matt finish paper was used instead of a glossy sheen which would have helped create a sharpness to the photos which was missing. Second disappointment was the lack of any identification of the individual photos as to general location or date or time of day. The cities at night might have been interesting to know who they were? Overall book production/quality is one of a paperback edition.

Why they chose cheap matte paper for these beautiful photos I have no idea. The color is washed out and the book seams obscure all the photos. I love the pictures but the quality of this printing is not worth it.
